CALL for ENTRIES: 8 Fluid Ounces 2012

I prefer to drink my soup.  Chowder and stew?  Give me a spoon and a bowl, but soup calls for the perfect cup.  The handle has to be big enough for me to slide my four fingers through, warming my palm against the cup.  Should be sturdy enough to keep the soup warm while I sip, but not too heavy to hold for the duration.  This next Call might give me a way to drink my soup out of a beautiful piece of art.  Trip to Louisiana anyone?

Check out this Call for Entries from The Glassell Gallery at the LSU School of Art in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 8 Fluid Ounces, a ceramic cup show.  This is a cool concept, and you have to check out the sales price cap.  Sales just after the holidays can ONLY be good…
