I have been craving the butter crunch of nuts lately.  Between having friends with nut trees and a mother that can’t stay out of the wholesale grocer, I always have an abundance of pecans & walnuts in the pantry.  Now they are sneaking their way into every dish from breakfast oatmeal to salads at lunch and every imaginable cuisine at dinner.  I’m wondering how long my family will appreciate the texture  and not notice the source, ha.  This next Call is all about texure.  Take a look…

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists

MEDIA: Photography

DEADLINE: March 5, 2017 (Midnight PST)

NOTIFICATION: (and opening date) March 25, 2017

ENTRY FEE: $20 for up to 3. 15% of artist fees go to 2 charities per competition. 7.5% to the curator’s choice of charity and 7.5% to the first place winner’s chosen charity.  Hermand-Grisel has chosen the charity Doctors without Borders.

CURATOR: Sandrine Hermand-Grisel is the founder of the acclaimed website All About Photo and spends most of her time discovering new talents while still working on personal projects. Her work was recently featured in Lenscratch January 2017 and she was chosen by the ASmith Gallery as their next juror for their ‘Summertime’ show.

SALES: All sales are conducted between the artist & buyer.  There is no commission.
