CALL for ENTRIES: Where I Live

Click to Subscribe to www.ArtAndArtDeadlines.com by Email!SHINE ON!

It is all about local food, regardless of where local is.  In South Carolina, it was boiled peanuts and mustard-based barbeque.  In Tennessee, it is Ole Smoky Moonshine and free-range chicken (as in…it wanders around your neighbor’s yard).  Soon for me, it will be blackberries from my backyard.  Local is where YOU are.  This next Call wants to know all about where YOU live.  Be proud…

Check out this Call to Artists for Where I Live from the Linus Galleries (California). The media for this show is a cool mixture, and this could be a great opportunity. Take a look…

Seafood?

I long to live off the grid, both for the consumption of energy resources AND for culinary purposes.  I am not the greenest or environmentally conscious person that ever lived.  My family and I do what we can.  But, we long to live off the grid via solar power, cistern water collection and home-grown food.  We want a life free of debt for electricity, water and groceries.  I haven’t figured out how to tackle the seafood and cell phone issue, but I stand in awe of at least the idea of depending solely on nature for survival. This next call invites you to celebrate the wonder of nature.  Great opportunity for a California show!

Check out this Call for Entries from the Linus Gallery (Pasadena, CA) for Nature, a group show.  In addition to being featured in a group show, you can also get a permanent link back to your website.  Take a look…
