I’ve always been an emotional eater.  I don’t fill huge emotional voids with a whole pizza, but I’ve been known to soothe my anxious mind & spirit with a piece of chocolate.  I hate the habit, but I have thus far been unable to break myself of it.  This next Call wants to see how you reveal your mind, spirit & emotion in art.  Take a look…

ELIGIBILITY:
All artists age 18+

MEDIA:   Open to all 2-D media

The visual narrative of the artist’s work should reveal their mind, spirit and emotion in the artwork.  The work should express the subject through the artist’s emotions, whether it is bold energy, subtle expression, mystery deepened or revealed, inner beauty, or a unique vision.

DEADLINE:
June 11, 2014

NOTIFICATION:
June 16, 2014

ENTRY FEE:  1 Entry for $15, up to three entries for $30, up to five entries for $60

AWARDS:
1
st Place: $500 in cash & $5,200 in prizes
2nd Place: $125 in cash & $1,625 in prizes
3rd Place: $60 in cash & $125 prizes

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner’s art will be featured in Art-Competition.net “Winners Showcase” with links to their websites.

The Honorable Mentions artwork will also be displayed in the “Honorable Mentions” section of the Art Competition website.  All entries will be displayed on our Art-Competition website Submissions Showcase page in the order that the submissions are received.
