your pleasure

I double most of the recipes for soups, stews & casseroles.  My child takes his lunch everyday, and despite working from my home office, I don’t have the time to make lunch everyday.  So, leftovers are it.  Eggplant lasagna is everyone’s favorite doubled meal, by the way (because it is THAT good 🙂 ).   The prizes for this next Call have almost doubled in the past 3 years.  Take a look…

CALL for SUBMISSION: Portfolio Review

When you invite someone for dinner, have you noticed how after the first bite they always say, “Mmmmmm.”  I’m suspicious.  Not everyone is a Chef; I think people sometimes just want to be polite.  Being polite is not always available to gallery owners and directors.  They have to be honest with their opinions to protect their bottom line…  This next Call is a chance to hear one gallery’s opinion about your work.  Are you ready to HEAR it?

Check out this Call for Submissions for Portfolio Review & Artist Representation from the Agora Gallery in New York City!  There is no fee to submit; however, there is DEFINITELY a fee to be represented.  If it isn’t your cup of tea, consider it a little educational nugget…

* Editor’s Note:  Why am I publishing this?  Did you hear about the 4 year old that sold 3 paintings for $27,000?  This is where she did it.  The gallery owner fell in love with her work without knowing her age.  That SAYS something whether you like the child’s work or not.  It’s worth a look, I’d say…

I would love to have $3800 to spend on my kitchen, but on first thought, $38,000 would cause my head to implode with all the possibilities.  But, if forced, I’m thinking this gorgeous $16,000 refrigerator would make a nice start.  Yeah, yeah, I feel your judgement.  Gimme a break.  Can’t a girl dream of perfectly temperature control without the disdain of consumer shame? This next Call for Entries won’t give you the whole $38,000 in cash, but the awards are nothing to sneeze at.
