Nectar Magazine
Nectar is a magazine that aims to explore a topic in depth through the inclusion of many different media, perspectives, and artists. What type of art goes into Nectar? Everything. They understand that different mediums allow for different types of expressions. So their issues aim to include photos, writing, drawings, paintings, film stills, illustrations, graphic design, fiber arts, book arts, mixed media, images of sculptures, installations, and performances, and everything else that we forgot that could fit on a page.
If you have work that you feel relates to the current theme,
send it in, they’d love to see it.
Even if you have music or videos, send them links! If they feel it contributes to the issue, they can put it on the website when the issue comes out. Nectar is run by a group of students currently at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design in New Mexico, USA.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all
MEDIA: ANYTHING.
Writing, photos, illustration, design, photos of sculptures or performance, paintings, etc. If it fits the theme “Most of Us Die,”
they want to see it.
DEADLINE: June 1, 2012
NOTIFICATION: Mid-June
ENTRY FEE: FREE
