My kitchen is fairly free of electronic gadgets.  While I appreciate the technology, a lack of space and economic tightwad-ness long ago put me on the path of manual gadgets.  You should have been there when I tried to explain to my kid how to use a non-electric, hand-held can opener.  Hilarity while trying to open a can of soup.  This next Call wants to know how technology affects your art.  And, it is free…

Check out this Call for Entries for Art & Technology from the Corcoran College of Art + Design’s Gallery 31 in Washington, DC.  There is no entry fee, and academic shows are always a feather in your cap.  Take a look…

Gallery 31 of the Corcoran College of Art + Design is pleased to announce the call for submissions for its new show dedicated to art and technology to be displayed from August 6 – September 2, 2012. NOTIFICATION:  July 6, 2012

  1. I love this. We just finished a mechanical drawing project in school. But wait… am I the only one who still uses a handheld can opener? 😛
