I am occasionally guilty of bulk-buying.  It isn’t Costco-style bulk buying, but I do get fascinated with one food staple.  Then I have to figure out how many ways I can disguise the same item as different meals because I don’t have room in the freezer long term.  But, many of us have been doing that with chicken for years.  Am I right?  If you’ve ever been fascinated with something long enough to make a whole series, then this next Call is for you.  Don’t be a chicken…

Gathering Clouds is seeking submissions based on an idea or theme that has sustained your interest over a long enough period of time to create a body of work, or “a series”.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all artists

MEDIA: Any media that can be appropriately represented by you in a 1200×1200 pixel image. i.e. painting, photography, printmaking, illustration, drawing, etc.

DEADLINE: April 6, 2013

ENTRY FEE: $20 for up to 7 images

AWARDS: Up to 8″ x 8” images published online and in the print magazine
