My dogs love raw potatoes.  I don’t get it.  They love lots of raw veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, romaine spines…and potatoes.  Now, I’m not one of those dog owners that feeds my dogs Doritos or junk food, but I must admit that when I’m cooking, they DO make great garbage disposals for veggie scraps.  They are rescued mutts, and I love them– enough to scramble them an egg occasionally, too.  There I’ve admitted it.  This next Call gives you a chance to show your love for your rescued pups.  Sit, stay and read…

Poignant photography of rescued dogs. This is the Rest in Show, because these animals are the best, whether they’re purebred or mutts!

This exhibition will take place at the same time as the big Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show at the Long Beach Convention Center.

These submissions must accompany a heartfelt story about the animal who is photographed as it will be posted next to the photograph – -break their hearts!

The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, 5:30-9:00 p.m. at 2699 E. 28th Street, Suite 416, Signal Hill, CA  90755.

ENTRY FEE:
$35 for 3 entries, $5 for add’l entries.

SALES:  Artwork will be offered for sale at the reception and any other days that the gallery will be open.  The galleries take a 40% commission on all sales of prints.
