TO EAT

If food tasted as good as commercials make it look, I would have to employ a full-time tailor to keep up with my ever increasing size.  There is an art to making food in commercials look appetizing, and it usually means the food can’t be eaten.  No joking.  This next Call may be the most appropriate that I’ve every published.  Food, anyone?

Check out this Call for Entries from 1820 Gallery at the Art Institute of Washington (Arlington, VA) for Yum, a celebration of food photography.  There is no entry fee, no complicated entry forms.  And think of all the excuses to eat your subject matter…

*Editor’s Note:  I know there are some phenomenal photographers amongst the subscribers of AAAD.  Do me and my love for food proud…Make sure you remind them that we sent you.
