ENTRY FEE: $35 for up to 5

JUROR: The curators of Western Bureau Arts

AWARDS:  The winning artist will receive $300, WBAP Plaque (Western Bureau Art Prize), a featured profile on the Western Bureau website & a 300-word review from the WB chief curator.  Two artists will receive $100, WBAP Plaque (Western Bureau Art Prize) & a 150-word review from the WB chief curator.  All entrants will receive a brief, written critique of their work. All winners will be also considered for inclusion in the Western Bureau’s Collection.

Pepperoni rolls are all the rage in West Virginia, often attributed to a historically large Italian immigrant population.  However, my food fascination during my 4 days in West Virginia this week has been morel mushrooms.  Hunting large caches or collection a large number of morels is a statewide obsession as well as a part-time moneymaker for many.  If you’ve never tried this meaty, intensely-flavored variety, search them out.  You don’t have to make a special trip to West Virginia, your local grocer may carry them.  This next Call is interested in your collection of art, not mushrooms.  Investigate…
