anyone?

Eating solely by candlelight is not romantic.  When the world is teaching its young boys and girls romantic guestures, the candlelit dinner is among the cliches reinforced repeatedly by television and print ads.  Yes, candlelight is lovely and flattering, but not SOLELY candelight.  I want to see what I am eating, or about to eat.  I want to enjoy the presentation of the food.  I DO NOT want to accidentally put a forkfull of wasabi in my mouth by accident.  This next Call COULD be all about candlelight.  What’s your bright idea?

Check out this Call for Entries from the Water Street Studios (Batavia, IL) for Illuminate.  This is their first themed show, and I’ve gotta say…loving the idea.  Themes usually make you think outside your comfort zone, but not everyone thinks about how their piece will be lit.  Investigate this one…
