CALL for ENTRIES: TOYS

Click to Subscribe to ArtAndArtDeadlines.com by Email!I love toys.

As an adult, there are two things for which I am always trying to invent excuses…eating dessert for breakfast…and buying cool artistic toys.  I have been rationalizing away “bressert” (as we call it in my house) for years, but now I have a great reason to buy toys…research.

The Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock has a Call for Entries out for the 37th Annual Toys Designed by Artists show with Purchase Awards totaling $2500.  The toys don’t have to be functional and is open to all artists internationally–not just regionally.  Take a look…

CALL FOR ENTRIES: Toys Designed by Artists

This delightful and ever popular competition was created to recognize and celebrate the playful side in each of us – artists and viewers alike. Toys may be functional, nonfunctional, child friendly, child proof, too delicate or scary to touch, or begging for tactile tinkering. Successful entries are creative, original, featuring excellence of design and superior craftsmanship.
