I am addicted to No Pudge Fudge brownie mix.  I’ve mentioned it before, I know.  They are the best brownies I’ve ever eaten (from a mix), and they are all natural.  It is the shortest ingredient list ever.  I’ve tried the original, raspberry and cappuccino, but I still haven’t tried the mint because I have to order them and have them shipped to me.  Food by mail isn’t usually my thing, but I may give in eventually.  However, in this next Call, no shipping is a HUGE advantage in my book.  Check it out…

Check out this Call for Entries from The Biennial Project for Art Venice Biennale 2013.  It is an online gallery opportunity with an attached opportunity be part of a digital art display during the opening week of The Venice Biennale 55.  You gotta love not having to ship work internationally…

equal six

I used to be addicted to “snack size,” pre-portioned foods.  I thought they were the perfect solution to my portioning problem.  However, I learned that the innocent little packages led me to eating multiples.  Plus, the extra packaging and cost don’t sit well either.  So, I’m back to counting cheese puffs and Fritos® again.  Let’s hope the small size of the artwork for the next Call creates a feed frenzy too.  Check it out…

Check out this Call for Entries from Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center (Solomons, MD) for Small Works. This show also allows you to be associated with a fundraiser without having to sacrifice your artwork or your portion of the sales price. And, their definition of “small works” is a little larger than usual…

or tamales

Did I ever tell you I looked into moving into a pickle factory?  No joke.  It was a part of the Paducah Artist Relocation program.  I fell in love with the beams.  Apparently it once housed a tamale manufacturing operation once as well.  Never fear, it smelled like neither.  In the end, I chose the mountains over the pickles.  This next Call hails from Paducah.  Don’t miss this opportunity…

Check out this Call for Entries from the Yeiser Art Center (Paducah, KY) for Paducah Photo 2013.  The entry fee is cheap, and the jurors are great.  $2000 in cash awards isn’t bad either…
