CALL for ENTRIES: Holga & More – Out of Box

Learn more about the Holga Out of the Box competition from TCCphoto.com!PASTA
for you & me

I try not to eat boxed food.  During some previous food sermon, I’m sure I have expounded on my quest for a diet comprised of whole foods, locally sourced and preferably organic.  But, I fall short–everyday.  I do the best I can as I am sure you do, but convenience foods are aptly named.  Sometimes convenience in necessary.  GF pasta and flour are not items I am willing to tackle as whole foods projects at this point.  This next Call is an excellent reason to get our of your artistic box.  Take a look…

Check out this Call for Entries from TCC Photo for Holga & More – Out of the Box, an int’l photo competition. Not Holga restricted; even SLR/DSLR users can qualify.  Investigate…

The newest way isn’t always the best way.  I love new fusion foods and the newest in scientifically gastronomic menus.  But we still eat Jell-O at my house…with cocktail fruit.  No kidding.  I have cookbooks with wonderfully vivid pictures of savory Jello-O creations like salmon mousse terrine mold.  Some ideas are worth preserving, although I cannot vouch for the salmon terrine.  This Call is asking you to preserve a means and method that is a little less than current too.  Interested in exploring this opportunity?

Check out this Call for Entries from RayKo Photo Center (San Francisco, CA) for the 5th Annual International Juried Plastic Camera Show.  The entry fee is low, and I can’t wait to see how many of you own a plastic camera…or end up buying one.  Take a look…
