I’m that person that always has a drink in her hand.  And, because I spend so much time on the road, I drink lots of water and more soft drinks that I care to admit.  When I finally get home, I just want a tall, cold glass of unsweetened, decaf black tea.  How odd that it would be a simple glass of tea that would remind me so much of home.  This next Call wants your thoughts on ‘home’ –person, place, feeling.  What’s home to you?

What are the most used tools in your kitchen?  Aside from knives, mine are the vegetable peeler, 2 sizes of whisks & measuring cups/spoons.  In my head, I can’t imagine not having a food processor & an immersion blender, but I don’t really use them that much.  The newest tech isn’t always the best tech for the job.  This next Call is a reflection on a the evolution of tech through art.  You’ll love this one…

“Ever since Pong took the world by storm, video games have been a rapidly growing and evolving art form.  Earlier video games, limited by the technology of the time forced designers to think of new ways of rendering figures. However as the technology evolved so did the art form, with modern games limited only by the imagination of the developer.  8-Bit examines this evolution through the lens of visual art and how style, technology & art interact & influence one another, channeling inspiration from “retro” technology into art.” –from whitdelarts.com
