ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all U.S. artists

MEDIA:  Acrylics & Oils, Water Media, Mixed Media & Graphics, Sculpture & Pastel

DEADLINE:  June 12, 2014

NOTIFICATION:  July 2, 2014

ENTRY FEE:  For Non-members, $25 for 1, $15 ea. add’l.  For SAL members, $15 for 1, $10 ea. add’l.  There is a limit of 6 entries per artist.

JUROR:  Dale Laitinen is an active workshop instructor and signature member of the National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Dale graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Art in 1975, and has been a full-time practicing artist since 1985. Dale has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine, Watercolor Magic, Watercolor Magazine, Drawing Board Magazine and several books.

Work by Juror Dale Laitinen!His paintings were featured in the October 2013 Southwest Art. Laitinen has two instructional videos, and this year is launching “Bristle” his online art magazine. His water-media and oil paintings were recently exhibited in a two person show at Petroglyphe Gallery in Mokelumne Hill, California, where he shows regularly. He is a past juror of many National and regional exhibitions including Watercolor West, Kentucky Watercolor Society, Utah Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Oregon, Red River Watermedia Show, Magnum Opus and many others.

AWARDS:   $1,000 Best of Show, $500 1st Place & $250 2nd Place

SALES:  The Stockton Art League will charge a 30% commission on sales to support exhibition costs.

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all artists residing in the United States

MEDIA:  Acrylic, Ceramics, Crafts, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Metalsmithing, Mixed Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Printmaking, Sculpture, Watercolor and other media.  No Photography or Computer Art.

DEADLINE: May 9, 2012

NOTIFICATION:  May 29, 2012

ENTRY FEE: $30 for 1-2 entries, $60 for 3-5 entries.

JUROR:  For over 30 years, Craig Nelson has been depicting figures landscapes and various environments in rich vibrant oils. His passion for the subjects relates directly to his brush work, weaving mood and emotion into each work of art.

Learn more about Juror Craig Nelson!After graduating from Art Center College of Design with distinction, Craig began his career working in Los Angeles for recording companies and motion picture studios, creating portraits and other subjects with strict deadlines. Craig’s countless movie posters include “The Cowboys”, “Slapshot”, and “Homeward Bound” among many others. His album cover credits include, “Sammy Davis Jr. Live”, “Rick Nelson, Country” and “Natalie Cole, Thankful” along with many more.

In 1974 Craig began teaching at Art Center College of Design and for the past 13 years has been sharing his knowledge at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco where he is Director of Fine Art, Drawing and Painting.

Craig teaches two to three workshops a year which have gained in popularity attracting students from all over the United States.  His annual January workshop held at Asilomar in Pacific Grove, California is in its 24th year.

SALES:  The Stockton Art league will take a commission of 30%
