THEME: “Flowers Of Spring”  The seasonal shift into spring historically has inspired artists to create some of their most beautiful works of art.  Spring flowers symbolize new life, beauty, peace & love.  And an abundance of flowers inspires & challenges the creative mind.

NOTIFICATION:  May 19, 2015

ENTRY FEE: $20 for 1, $35 for 3, $60 for 7

AWARDS: 1st Place: $500 cash & other awards valued at $5200. 2nd place: $125 cash & other awards valued at $1625.  3rd Place: $75 cash.  4th Place: $50 cash.  5th Place: $25 cash.

Most people associate Georgia with peaches, or maybe peanuts (thanks to Jimmy Carter), but I always think of barbeque ribs or creamy lobster bisque.  Random, I know.  I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta as a young girl, and barbeque ribs were a standard at least one night a week during the summer.  Once a teenager, I made treks to Savannah with my mother to have table-side Caesar salad and lobster bisque from our favorite restaurant.  I suppose every person’s food story is a unique work of non-fiction.  This next Call is your non-fiction opportunity to tell your own solo story.  Take a look…

The gallery is now seeking innovative emerging or mid-career visual artists to submit samples of their work to be considered for the award of a gallery-sponsored show.  Submissions can be for a solo or group show and of any theme or media.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists

MEDIA: Open to all media

ENTRY FEE: $35 per solo submission, $45 per group submission

AWARDS: All artists chosen in the first round will be featured in a digital exhibition on Non-Fiction’s website, and eligible to participate in the finalist round.

One artist/artist group from the entrants in the finalist round will be awarded a three-week show at the gallery, complete with professional promotion, curation, installation, and artist reception.

SALES: Gallery sales commission is 35%.
