GREEN

We are all careful about dairy products & cross contamination as a result of years of PSA-style campaigning about food-borne illness.  But, did you know that leafy greens are among the most dangerous types of foods?  Remember the bagged spinach epidemic from a few years ago.  Leafy greens are at high risk for contamination from manure in the growing process.  You’re not off the hook for eating greens, you just have to promise to wash this type of food really well.  This Call wants to know your type; food references are optional.  Great opportunity at a great gallery…

Check out this Call for Entries from Whitdel Arts (Detroit, MI) for Just My Type. Take the time to investigate the jurors & arts organizationIt will make you WANT to enter. Take a look…

“This exhibition will feature artwork that focuses on, as well as incorporates, typefaces and letterforms. The letterform is an entity we interact with every day, most often without as much as a second thought; an artform hiding in plain sight.  What’s your type? Whether the typeface is used as a means of communication, or celebrated in its purest form, ‘Just My Type’ aims to showcase it.” –from whitdelarts.com
