He served as director of the Watts Towers Arts Center from 1993 – 2002 and the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery from 2004 – 2010. Greenfield’s work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States and internationally. His work deals primarily with the African American experience and in recent years has focused on the effects of stereotypes and racial politics on American culture.

AWARDS: More than $8,500 will be awarded, including three $1,000 Awards of Excellence.

She’s trying to not increase her electric suck by not buying an additional refrigerator. So, she’s learning to wax her cheese for storage in her cold cellar. She completed her BFA at the College of Art, New Delhi; MA at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; and received her PhD from Cornell University.

AWARDS: Gold $1000 Purchase Award, Silver $250 & eight $100 Certificates of Recognition.

I am addicted to cones of vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate. More accurately, I love the chocolate dipped diary, not the cone, but I have great respect for the edible nature of this delivery system. Why don’t we have more edible packaging? I don’t know either. (BTW, no, I do NOT want to know about the probably-scary, chemical explanation for why dipping chocolate hardens. Ignorance is bliss.)
