$5 Art Contest

What is it?

Every month or so, we feature the work of an artist with a short interview and links back to the artist’s site. For examples, check out previous features!

Contest Guidelines:

FEE: Send your $5 entry fee to submitart@artandartdeadlines.com via PayPal.com and record the transaction # when you’re finished. Don’t worry…it is part of the confirmation email they send you. Don’t have $5? See the Rejection Letter page for details.

SUBMISSION: Send ONE email to submitart@artandartdeadlines.com the PayPal transaction #, link to your website (Please don’t enter if you don’t have a web presence because there will be little benefit to you if you win), and tell me how you found the contest. The subject line of your email should have the current month in CAPS and your name. For example: <INSERT MONTH> $5 Art Contest – <insert your name>

DEADLINE: The deadline is the last day of each month. The artist chosen will be notified, and the FEATURED ARTIST will be posted around the 15th of the month.

DISCLAIMERS: We reserve the right to publish work of artists whose work we love–entry fee or not. We reserve the right to publish every other month if entries are too few in number. Please don’t expect to get a ribbon or crown in the mail.
