Can someone bring me a mango ice shave? I have been desperately trying not to whine about the heat, but you could stave off my whining with a shave ice. Really. Don’t bring me a snow cone; it isn’t the same thing. It is about the location of the syrup. In a shave ice/ice shave, the shaving creates a snow-like texture that absorbs the syrup. In a snow cone, the ice is crushed causing all the syrup to settle to the bottom. Don’t try a shave ice unless you are prepared to never eat a snow cone again. Really.
