CALL for ENTRIES: Gems in the Ruins

Learn more from Governors Island Arts Fair!SUMMER SQUASH
not winter

I’ve just gotten used to not being cold, and recipe sites are already touting Fall foods like acorn squash.  Cut it out.  We’ve all learned to live with the sales of holiday-themed items a full two to three months BEFORE the holiday.  But, I refuse to start buying winter foods during the bounty of Summer.  Why would I give up a beautiful zucchini blossom for cinnamon-laden, pumpkin-flavored everything?  I simply will not give in on food.  If you want to dream of Fall, this next Call is a BEST sort of reason to think of Fall in advance.  Take a look…

Check out this Call for Entries from 4heads.org for the 2015 Governor’s Island Art Fair. $35 to apply, but your room is free–FOR A MONTH!  Did I mention that commission is only 30%?  I love New York in the Fall…
