Frequently, the sense memory I have with food OFTEN brings me to a specific place.  Antipasti reminds me of romantic living room picnics with my sweet husband that have become the tradition of our marriage.  Boiled peanuts remind me of combing the flea markets of South Carolina for hidden treasures.  Soft, doughy pretzels remind me of laughing hysterically with my kid on the Scrambler at the State Fair.  This next Call’s exhibit is located in a fantastic space of its own.  Take a look!

Check out this Call for Entries from the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art (Augusta, GA) for there 2012 Juried Exhibit: A Sense of Place.  This is such a beautiful gallery …and a great opportunity!
