I love Art-O-Mat! Art Starts at only $5!

I originally became an art gallery owner because I couldn’t afford the art I loved, and I wanted to be responsible for making at least some of the art I loved affordable.  But I assure you that your friendly blogger didn’t invent the idea of affordable art.  Neither did Art-O-Mat, but I love their take.

Now there is no excuse not to be a collector.  Submit your work today!  Here is some great information from Art-O-Mat

Many thanks to Toni Turbeville for reminding me of this great resource.Check out this Art-O-Mat work from Kathy Fisher!

 What is an Art-o-mat?
Art-o-mat machines are retired cigarette vending machines that have been converted to vend art. There are 82 active machines in various locations throughout the country.  Find an art-o-mat near you.

What do you get from an Art-o-mat?
The experience of pulling the knob alone is quite a thrill, but you also walk away with an original work of art. What an easy way to become an art collector.  See Art-O-Mat samples here. Check out the Art-O-Mat work of Kathy Fisher (pictured right).Remember to "Research the Ingredients" before submitting!

Want to be an Artomat artist?
There are around 400 contributing artists from 10 different countries currently involved in the Art*o*mat project. They are always searching for fresh work.  Check out the submission process.  Just remember, all they can do is say no.  Do your research, and then follow the guidelines.  Be brave and submit your inspired art so that someone else can afford to be a collector…and eat!

ArtAndArtDeadlines.com is a free service–forever and always. But clicking on a sponsor’s ad can help you find additional Art Deadlines and help this service remain free. I’ve filtered the ads so they are mostly about art. I hope you find something intriguing! Thanks for your support!
