Here are your deadlines for September of 2009–the inaugural deadlines post for Art and Art Deadlines.  Some of these shows have deadlines that are only days away; however, most of them are online or digital entries.  There’s a free show or two thrown into the batter…so no excuses!

DESCRIPTION:Infinity Art Gallery seeks entries for an online juried art exhibit, October 15, 2009 to April 15, 2010 at Awards: $2500 USD total. Open for artists everywhere to submit. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Our intention is to choose the very best art in terms of composition, technique, concept and overall excellence regardless of style or medium. $25 Entry Fee.

DESCRIPTION: The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in “Art in Nature”, Dec 4, 2009 till Jan 9, 2010. Awards: $600. Juror: Kathy Moran. Open to photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. $35 ($20 for members) for the first 3 images, $10 for each image after that.

DESCRIPTION: The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville and the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (McGhee Tyson Airport) announce a call for entries for the “Arts in the Airport Exhibition”, a juried exhibition developed to allow regional artists to compete and display work in the most visited site in the area. The selected art will feature contemporary 2-dimensional artwork and will be exhibited in the secured area behind McGhee Tyson Airport’s security gate checkpoint from October 23, 2009 – April 22, 2010.  NO ENTRY FEE. DESCRIPTION: Souls Who Care seeks artists for the “Boot & Heal, 2009 National Juried Cowboy Boot Fine Art Event”, to be held Oct 24- Nov 14 at the Morton Street Gallery in Richmond, Texas ( Awards of Merit will be presented. DESCRIPTION:The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville announces a call for entries for its National Juried Exhibition of 2009. The National Juried Exhibition was developed to provide a forum for artists to compete and display their work on a national scale. The selected art features both traditional and non-traditional work and will be exhibited at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, from December 14, 2009 – January 29, 2010. DESCRIPTION: Center Galleryin Wichita, Kansas announces a call to photographers for the “2009 Hot New Pics Show”, October 30 – November 20, 2009. One photographer will be designated the “Hot New Pic” and receive $250. Open to all artists, local, regional, and national. The exhibition is geared to the creative exploration of the medium of photography. All works should be ready to hang. SHOW:  “The Art Interview – 18th Int’l Online Artist Competition”

DESCRIPTION:The Art Interview – 18th International Online Artist Competition is a quarterly, international, juried exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures in any medium. It is open to all living artists worldwide aged 16 and up. A European gallery exhibition and a total of 17,000 Euros in cash may be awarded each quarter to the first, second and third place winners. First place winners receive up to 10,000 Euros plus a featured interview in Art Interview Online Magazine.
